πŸ“– Surah Al-Baqarah (2:259)

Once, a man from Bani Israel, believed to be Uzair (AS), was passing through a village that lay in complete ruins. The once-thriving town had collapsed—its walls crumbled, and its roofs lay scattered on the ground.

πŸ”Ή A Thought That Led to a Divine Lesson
As Uzair (AS) gazed at the destruction, he wondered:
"How will Allah bring this dead city back to life?"

While reflecting on this, Allah caused him to die for a hundred years.

πŸ”Ή The Resurrection After 100 Years
When Allah resurrected him, He asked:
"How long have you remained here?"

Uzair (AS) replied:
"Maybe a day or part of a day."

Allah said:
"No! You have remained here for 100 years! Now look at your food and drink—they have not changed. And look at your donkey—observe how We bring it back to life before your very eyes!"

πŸ”Ή The Revival of the Donkey
Uzair (AS) watched as Allah assembled the donkey’s bones, covered them with flesh, and restored life to the animal. Witnessing this miracle, Uzair (AS) proclaimed:
"Indeed, Allah has power over all things!"

πŸ“œ Quranic Verse (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:259)
"Or like the one who passed by a town that was in ruins. He said, 'How will Allah bring this to life after its death?' So, Allah caused him to die for a hundred years, then resurrected him. He said, 'How long have you remained here?' The man replied, 'Perhaps a day or part of a day.' Allah said, 'No! You have remained here for a hundred years! Look at your food and drink—they have not changed. And look at your donkey! We will make you a sign for the people. Look at the bones—how We assemble them and then cover them with flesh.' When it became clear to him, he said, 'I know that Allah is capable of all things.'” (2:259)
