📖 Surah Al-Baqarah (2:132-133)

🔹 Prophet Ibrahim (AS) to his sons:
🗣️ “O my sons, Allah has chosen the true religion for you. Hold on to it firmly, and do not leave this world except as Muslims.”

🔹 Prophet Yaqub (AS) to his sons (following the same advice):

Yaqub (AS), also known as Israel, was the son of Ishaq (AS) and the grandson of Ibrahim (AS). He was blessed with 12 sons, and among them was Yusuf (AS), who later became a great prophet.

As Yaqub (AS) approached his final moments, he gathered his sons around him and asked a crucial question:

"O my sons! Whom will you worship after me?"

Without hesitation, they responded in unison:

"We will worship your God, the God of your forefathers Ibrahim, Ismail, and Ishaq—the One and Only Allah. We submit to Him as Muslims."

✅ A Parent’s Most Important Legacy – Yaqub (AS) didn’t ask about wealth, status, or inheritance; he asked about faith. Every parent should ensure their children remain steadfast in Tawheed (belief in one God).

"O my sons! Indeed, Allah has chosen this religion for you, so do not die except as Muslims." (Quran 2:132)

✅ The Power of a United Family in Faith – All 12 sons of Yaqub (AS) reaffirmed their belief in Allah alone, showing the power of righteous upbringing.

✅ Make Your Will in Faith – Before we leave this world, we must remind our children of their true purpose: to worship Allah alone and submit to Him.

وَوَصَّىٰ بِهَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعْقُوبُ يَا بَنِيَّ إِنَّ اللَّهَ اصْطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ الدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ
أَمْ كُنْتُمْ شُهَدَاءَ إِذْ حَضَرَ يَعْقُوبَ الْمَوْتُ إِذْ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ مِنْ بَعْدِي قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ آبَائِكَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَإِسْمَاعِيلَ وَإِسْحَاقَ إِلَٰهًا وَاحِدًا وَنَحْنُ لَهُ مُسْلِمُو
